Joint and several liability
Liability of several persons under which the injured party may claim the full compensation from any liable person.
In brief
Where several tortfeasors are involved, section 1302 ABGB may provide for joint and several liability. The liable persons then settle contributions internally.
For the injured party, it matters which persons are liable and whether the claim can be pursued against one or several of them.
